French Beef Bourguignon Recipe

Classic of the French beef bourguignon, and from today, of your house.


Beef Bourguignon

Ingredients

Quantity 4 Person

- 500 gr of beef (or beef)
- 2 onions
- 3 carrots
- 1 bunch of herbs (thyme, bay leaf ...)
- 750 ml red wine
- 100 gr of bacon
- 1garlic clove
- 100 gr of mushrooms
- Salt
- Pepper

- knife

STEP 1

In a saucepan, poach the onions cut in julienne. Then, add the meat. Lightly cook the meat (just mark the outside)

STEP 2

Then, cover with the wine and add the carrots cut into slices + the bacon (previously fried and drained) + chopped garlic + herbs bouquet.

STEP 3

Let cook covered over low heat for 2 hours.

STEP 4

After that time, add the mushrooms in slices and let cook again for 1 hour more covered.

STEP 5

If after all this time of cooking, the meat is not yet tender, let it cook until it is, without forgetting to cover (to prevent the wine from evaporating too much)

And ready!! to enjoy!
